Hello everyone. Greetings!!
Fortunate enough to grew up in India, part of my great North Indian Punjabi family where the food environment was so eclectic and where pots and pans would constantly sizzle. My early and countless memories of food are of my dad spending hours churning out delicacies in his kitchen and me being with him in kitchen hearing his stories of my grand mom. Having heard of finger licking home food stories of my Grand Mom where the aroma of dishes is enough to make everyone hungry. Though I have very faint memories of her, however it was sure she passed on the passion for cooking though generations. Those lovely memories and a passion for food is what drove me to ditch a cushy corporate life many years back and follow my dreams. Making recipes, cooking and eating with families and friends has now become a way of life. Not to forget the numerous food photographs that I captured. Peek at my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/fingersareforburning/?hl=en Though I have explored a variety of cuisines but it is Indian food that excites me and will always be close to my heart. I believe in creating dishes that makes me happy. To me food is joy and I’m happily embracing my passion for all things sweet and spicy. So, come and join me in exploring the endlessly delicious menus.
“I’m going to be a slave to Indian cuisine.” - As said by British Celebrity Chef, Marco Pierre White on his India visit.
