I had a wonderful time! Gracious hostess, delicious food, and an amazing setting. Truly made my first visit to Paris as a solo traveler memorable! I can't wait to visit the city again and stop by for dinner.

Claire Tamarelle, LILY GOES TO PARIS.

Thank you for a truly special evening and greetings to Jimmy!

I had a lovely time visiting with Gid and her daughter Zoey. My meal was delicious and the ambience was beautiful. After dinner Gid took me on a very informative tour of Montmarte and pointed out many places of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend Gil as a hostess with the mostest!

Lunch was just brilliant and the setting perfect overlooking a small courtyard. Gid has a gorgeous little dog (Jim of Montmartre) who is very friendly and loves a small tidbit from the table. After a wonderful lunch we went for a walk around Montmartre to discover many places not really frequented by tourists and as Gid is an artist, you get an artist's perspective of the area. So many wonderful things to see and I learnt a lot about the history and the inhabitants of this lovely area of Paris. This will be a wonderful and cherished souvenir of my visit.
November 2014 -  montmartre brunch

A wonderful experience all around! I felt like we were dining with old friends. Brigitte loves her food, art and neighborhood and all her passions were warmly shared on this evening.

Dear Brigitte, thank you for this fantastic apero-style dinner, cheese & wine party:) It was so French! I rediscovered artistic Montmartre with you and learned a lot of its secrets. You know this hidden side of Montmartre ( its "bijoux") better than everyone, as you are the artist also and, by the way, your passion to art is "transmissible":) I loved the guided tour by night! All the best***

Very nice dinner in a very nice place & atmosphere!
Brigitte knows her district like nobody else and she will show you hidden places of Montmartre.
Definitely recommended for Montmartre lovers!
thanks Gid

Great place to be and superbe host! With a lot of inside information of Montmartre, which is a total different place to be than PARIS! So nice to visit at night. We will come back!

Good luck Brigit with your artistic projects.

This was an amazing experience. The meal was fabulous and the company was delightful. We sat outside in her back courtyard by candlelight and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed a fabulous meal with the highlight being a Rabbit Stew. This was special because it's not a common dish in NYC. I am sure we can get it in New York but certainly not homemade and cooked with such love. After dinner we went on a amazing walking tour of Monmartre. It was really a fabulous experience to hear the special stories told by a true local. My only criticism is that the tour was a little long. It was almost 2 hours on cobblestone and up many hills and we spent the whole day at the Louvre so you can imagine how much walking we had already done. I guess every great thing has a sacrifice so I suggest that you wear very comfortable shoes. Also beware that the Metro stops running at a specific time which was information that we were unaware of so we had no choice but to pay for a cab ride back to our apartment. It wasn't too expensive for us but the other ladies that were there were staying in a flat much further and had to splurge for a cab as well. It was defiantly one of the high lights of our trips. Bring a camera!!!

I can't explain how incredible our time with Brigitte was. We ate the most delicious aperitif, hand selected for us since we are vegetarians. The wines were perfectly paired with the unique cheeses, breads, olives, dips, etc. Then we had an illuminating night-time stroll through the streets of Montmartre. It was like we had traveled back in time and were getting to see what made Paris a cultural capital of extraordinary artistic productivity. But the best part is getting to know Brigitte, who is such a kind, thoughtful, and personable individual. Meeting her was like getting reacquainted with an old friend who happens to have remarkable knowledge and a special love of Montmartre.

If you have time to do one thing in Paris, this should be it.

Brigitte's beautiful apartment and courtyard garden was an oasis of calm from the dust and bustle of Paris. Her gorgeous puppy Jim welcomed us in excitedly (for those who don't like dogs- he's only little and very cute). Much to our relief, Brigitte's English is perfect as our French is rather poor and she was very adaptable to our dietary requirements- these were 2 things we were worried about! Our meal was based around superb ingredients, simply prepared so that the flavours spoke for themselves.
She was a wonderful host, who was curious about us and was able to speak extensively on many subjects. It was great to be able to have a real Parisian who could answer our questions and tell us about her culture and life and art. Her tour around Monmartre was a real treat- with her artist's eye for the beautiful and her knowledge of the history of artists who lived in the area, we went back to our hotel having been well informed, well fed and content with life!

agréable soirée à découvrir des coins inconnus d'un très beau quartier en compagnie de Gid qui aime Montmartre de tout son cœur.

My wife and I signed up for a dinner with Gid during our honeymoon trip to Paris and enjoyed every enchanted minute. We had special allergy concerns and our host went out of her way to accommodate us. The homemade cuisine was our favorite culinary experience during our whole week in Paris. The night tour of Monmarte was a perfect ending to an authentic Parisian experience. Highly recommended to anyone looking to share great food, conversation, and culture.

Gid was the perfect hostess and both Holly and I enjoyed the evening with Gid and her daughter. Wonderful food and good conversation that exceeded my expectations!

We just spent a fantastic evening with Brigitte! What a wonderfull dinner we had ! Brigiite is a brilliant painter and lives in the heart of Montmartre one of the most beautiful place of Paris.
Not only the food was perfect, but on top of that she offered us a privated guided tour in her neighborhood. She knows all the secret spots and were all famous painters used to live...
What else... Give a try you will share her passion! It's unique!
